About these Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms of Service”) govern bookings, orders, payments, cancellations, gift cards, loyalty benefits, and related marketplace transactions you make through RézOo (the “Appointment Services”).
Your use of the RézOo website and apps is also subject to our Terms of Use. How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before booking. By making a booking or purchase through RézOo, you agree to them.
Who provides what
RézOo operates a marketplace Platform that helps customers discover and book services offered by independent businesses (“Partners”).
Partners provide the underlying services (for example salon, spa, fitness, or other local services). Unless we clearly say otherwise, RézOo is not the provider of those Partner services and is not responsible for how Partners perform them.
RézOo provides the booking, payment facilitation, and related Platform features described in these Terms of Service.
Accounts
You may need an account to book or manage appointments. You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Bookings and confirmations
When you request a booking, you offer to book the selected service at the selected time (and with a specific professional when you choose one). A booking is confirmed when RézOo or the Partner confirms it through the Platform.
Availability, pricing, duration, location, and service descriptions are set by Partners. Always check the listing details before you book.
Partners may need to contact you about preparation, arrival, or service details using the contact information associated with your booking.
Prices, fees, and taxes
Prices shown on listings are set by Partners unless marked otherwise. Applicable taxes, Platform fees, or cancellation fees may apply and will be shown or described before you pay where required.
Currency and tax treatment depend on the Partner and the laws that apply where the service is offered.
Payments
Payments may be collected online through our payment provider or, where offered, paid in store according to the Partner’s options. Online card payments are processed by Stripe or another designated processor; their terms also apply to the payment method.
By submitting a payment method, you authorize charges for the booking, applicable fees, and any amounts you agree to for no-shows, late cancellations, or related Partner policies disclosed at booking.
Cancellations, changes, and no-shows
Cancellation and rescheduling rules can vary by Partner and may include fees. Those rules are shown in the booking flow or store policies when available.
If you cancel within a Partner’s free-cancellation window, you may receive a refund according to that policy and these Terms of Service. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in fees or forfeiture of prepaid amounts as disclosed.
Partners may cancel or reschedule for operational reasons. If that happens, we will help facilitate notice and, where appropriate, a refund or rebooking for prepaid Platform payments.
Refunds
Refund eligibility depends on the Partner’s policy, the timing of cancellation, payment method, and whether the service was fulfilled. Approved refunds for online payments are returned to the original payment method or wallet balance when applicable, subject to processor timelines.
Disputes about the quality of a Partner service should first be raised with the Partner. RézOo may help mediate Platform payment issues but does not guarantee Partner service outcomes.
Gift cards, wallet credits, and loyalty
Gift cards, wallet balances, promotions, and digital loyalty cards are subject to the terms shown at purchase or enrollment, including expiry, non-cash redemption rules, and store-specific loyalty rules where applicable.
Unless required by law, gift cards and credits are not redeemable for cash and may be limited to participating Partners or uses described on the Platform.
Acceptable use of Appointment Services
You must not book in bad faith, abuse promotions, submit false information, harass Partner staff, or use the Appointment Services for unlawful purposes. We may suspend bookings or accounts that violate these Terms of Service or our Terms of Use.
Partner responsibilities
Partners are responsible for the services they offer, including licensing, qualifications, health and safety, accurate listings, availability, and compliance with consumer protection and professional rules that apply to them.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Quebec and Canadian law, RézOo is not liable for Partner services, Partner acts or omissions, or losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control. Our total liability related to Appointment Services for any claim is limited to the greater of the fees you paid to RézOo for the specific booking giving rise to the claim and CAD $100, except where liability cannot be limited by law (including certain cases of death, bodily injury, or fraud).
Changes
We may update these Terms of Service by posting a revised version on this page. Changes apply to bookings made after the updated Terms of Service take effect. If you do not agree, do not make further bookings.
